BOULDER PHOTOS AT BETASSO PRESERVE
Gentle meadows, pine trees and distant mountains. Very little traffic. The shooting area is in the red circle. Past Wedgewood Boulder Creek, take a right on Sugarloaf Road, then a right on Betasso Road. Mountain bikers use the lot to the left on Broken Fence Road, we use the lot to the right past the Ranger’s Station.
CHAUTAUQUA PARK
Boulder’s famed park with iconic views of the Flatirons formation. Depending on the day the park can become quite busy and getting photos free of hikers/walkers is difficult. Avoid entering for photos near the Park Rangers’ station where the pedestrian traffic is the thickest. Alternatively, enter the park from the intersection of Baseline Road and Eighth Street.
